Despite the rain, the cold, and a utility trailer with leaky tires, Drew Grillon and two of his friends drove all the way from Bat Cave, North Carolina to McKenney-Salinas PowerSports in Gastonia to take his place among four finalist in the McKenney-Salinas PowerSport / ESPN Charlotte 730AM Radio ATV Giveaway.

Joined by the three other finalists: Michael Murphy; Jax Rebol; and Dexter Tuttle, it soon became obvious that Drew’s effort was worthwhile when Apparel & Accessories Consultant Makayla Poole pulled his name as winner from the drawing box held by President and General Manager Don Willis, Jr..

Murphy, Rebol and Tuttle went away winners to with goody bags full of swag from the dealership and the radio station.

McKenney-Salinas PowerSports joined forces with the radio station in hosting the ESPN730 Tailgating Corner at all of the Carolina Panthers home games where hundreds of fans registered to win the new 2012 Honda TRX250X all terrain vehicle.

Young Drew Grillon and his traveling companions were grinning from ear to ear when they headed back up the road towards Bat Cave. And that is the way it ought to be.
